Today we are in PPSC preparation for computer science lecturer and Subject Specialist jobs 2020 session 18.

In this session we are going to start very fundamental Computer Architecture and assembly programming language course outline specified in Punjab Public Service Commission computer science syllabus and Gate computer science syllabus. As I have already mentioned that we are working on tentative PPSC computer science syllabus for the post of lecturer computer science jobs 2020. We are preparing for PPSC test to be conducted in October 2020. Expected date of PPSC lecturer exams is first hour second week of October 2020. E and I have previous lectures and suggestions that Higher Education Department requested Punjab Public Service Commission to complete the process of Punjab PPSC lecturers 2020 as soon as possible.

Therefore it can be expected that the date of written exams for the post of lecturers 2020 would start from mid of October 2020. Today we will start from computer architecture and computer processors and then we will go forward to Assembly programming language and we’ll discuss internal architecture which memory addressing techniques will also be described.

The topics of today’s lecture are: COMPUTER ARCHITECTURE AND ASSEMBLY LANGUAGE:

Microprocessor Bus Structure: Addressing, Data and Control, Memory Organization and Structure (Segmented and Linear Models), Introduction to Registers and Flags, Data Movement, Arithmetic and Logic, Programme Control, Subroutines, Stack and its operation, Peripheral Control Interrupts. Objectives and Perspectives of Assembly Language, Addressing Modes, Introduction to the Assembler and Debugger, Manipulate and translate machine and assembly code. Interfacing with high level languages, Real-time application.
